We care deeply about protecting your family's information. This policy explains what data MyHomeHeroes collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
No Account, No Cloud Collection
MyHomeHeroes does not require an online account, and we do not collect or transmit personal information to our servers. All family data remains on the devices you install the app on, unless you explicitly back it up using your own system or cloud provider.
What the App Stores
- Family member profiles you create (name, emoji, color, role) saved locally on each device.
- Task details, rewards, kudos messages, and leaderboard data maintained on the device.
- Temporary network information when you enable the Family Network to sync across devices on the same Wi‑Fi.
How the App Uses Data
- Display your tasks, points, rewards, and kudos inside the app on each device.
- Synchronize information between a host device and connected members when you enable the Family Network.
- Help us troubleshoot only when you choose to share app diagnostics via email.
Cloud & Sync
MyHomeHeroes can run completely offline in local mode. If you enable the Family Network, data is transferred only between devices you approve on your home Wi‑Fi using peer-to-peer connections. Nothing is uploaded to third-party servers unless you back it up yourself. Future cloud features will always be opt-in and clearly explained.
Your Choices
- Use local-only mode at any time.
- Delete tasks, rewards, kudos, and members directly in the app.
- Reset all data via Settings > Data Management.
- Request assistance or deletion by emailing contact@chillex.cloud.
Children's Privacy
MyHomeHeroes is designed for families. Parents (hosts) control the creation of profiles and sharing of information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental involvement.
