Data privacy

MyTreasureBuddy does not create an online account for you. Your collection — coins, quantities, purchase details, notes, and custom entries — is stored on this device using Apple's local storage (SwiftData and on-device files).

App preferences (currency, weight unit, cached metal prices, and tour progress) are saved on this device. If you add a Numista API key, it is stored locally on this device as well.

The app only contacts external services when needed: Minted Metal for spot prices, Yahoo Finance for historical charts, Frankfurter for USD/EUR rates, and Numista when you search or import coins (using your own API key). Search terms you enter are sent to Numista only when you use Numista search.

MyTreasureBuddy does not sell your data and does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app code.
